London ∙ Indian-born Rishi Sunak is intensifying his election campaign to seek support to become Britain’s next prime minister. Footage of him performing Gopooja in London went viral in cyberspace. He performed Gopuja along with his wife Aksatha Murthy. Gopooja, the Prime Minister’s candidate, became a big debate among the Indian community in the UK.
Rishi had said that his aim was to make the relationship between Britain and India more active on both sides without it becoming one-sided. He said that the system should be made easier for students and companies from Britain to come, study and work in India. Rishi Sunak also campaigned among Conservative Party members of Indian origin to seek support.
