ABIMAQ holds a course on NR-35 in São Paulo

Intended for professionals involved directly or indirectly with work at height, ABIMAQ (Brazilian Association of Machines and Equipment) will hold on June 20th (Tuesday), the NR 35 course – Training for working at height.

Taught by instructor Mariana do Val, a work safety technician, specialist in industrial mountaineering and rope access, with experience in the implementation and adequacy of NR 35 in an industrial center, the class aims to train employees to correctly comply with the Regulatory Standard of the MTE (Ministry of Labor and Employment), which provides that every company that performs work at height promotes theoretical and practical training for its workers, aiming to guarantee qualification on risks, control, emergency and rescue measures.

During the course, which will be held in person at the headquarters of ABIMAQ, located at Av. Jabaquara, 2925 – Mirandópolis – São Paulo/SP, the public will have access to the following program content:

– Regulatory Standard – NR-35;

– Risk analysis and impeding conditions;

– Potential risks inherent to work and height and prevention and control measures;

– Collective protection systems, equipment and procedures;

– Personal protective equipment for work at height: selection, inspection, conservation and limitation of use;

– Typical accidents when working at height;

– Conduct in emergency situations;

– Notions of rescue techniques and first aid.
