Abinader leads events for the 178th anniversary of the Battle of March 30

President Luis Abinader participated the morning of today in Tedeum in the Santiago Apóstol Cathedral for the commemoration of the 178th anniversary of the Battle of March 30.

The Metropolitan Archbishop of Santiago, Monsignor Freddy Breton in the homily he asked legislators to approve the Penal Code and thus be able to criminally punish abortion.

President Luis Abinader was accompanied by the Governor of Santiago, Rosa Santos, as well as the President of the Senate, Eduardo Estrella, the Minister of Public Health, Daniel Rivera, among others.

Then the president moved to Las Carreras avenue, where he will be participating in the civic-military Parade, on the occasion of 178th anniversary of the Battle of March 30.
