Abreu contributes double and White Sox sweep in Boston

Dallas Keuchel snapped a three-game losing streak by pitching six solid innings, Jose Abreu hit a two-run double and the Chicago White Sox beat the Boston Red Sox 3-2 on Sunday for their sixth straight victory.

Leury Garcia added an RBI single for the White Sox (14-13), above .500 for the first time since April 20. They completed a 5-0 road trip, including three wins at Fenway Park.

Puerto Rican Christian Vázquez had an RBI single for Boston (10-19), in his worst streak of the season with five straight setbacks. They have lost 14 of 18.

Keuchel (2-3) gave up two runs while allowing eight hits with five strikeouts. He had a 9.90 ERA in his previous three starts.

Abreu, who also doubled in the go-ahead run for the 3-1 victory, hit his double down the left-field line off Tanner Houck (2-3).

For the White Sox, the Cubans Abreu 4-1, two RBIs; Yasmani Grandal 3-2; and Luis Robert 4-1, one scored. The Dominican Garcia 4-1, an RBI.

For the Red Sox, the Puerto Ricans Vázquez 4-1, one RBI; and Kike Hernandez 3-0. The Dominican Rafael Devers 4-3, one scored.
