If the decision of 2020 is still canceled, then the crossing of the Russian border will return to pre-docian conditions, confirms Alla Ivanova, head of the agency for interregional and international cooperation of the government of the Kaliningrad region.

Where can you go?

But there are exceptions. Citizens of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Abkhazia, South Ossetia can come by car from their countries. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Armenia, Belarus can enter from the territory of other states. Citizens of Uzbekistan can travel by train.

Everyone else will need special grounds for entry, confirmed by documents. For example, foreigners permanently residing here and those who have relatives here will be allowed into Russia.
