Al-Marsad newspaper: The Absher platform announced the availability of electronically selling vehicles with prices starting from 500 riyals up to one million riyals through the vehicle sales service.
The terms of use of the service included:
– Both the seller and the buyer must be registered on the Absher platform.
– The price of the vehicle should be between 500 and 1,000,000
– The vehicle must be in good condition and not parked, lost, wanted, or impounded.
– Vehicles of the “private” or “private transport” type can be sold for citizens, and only “private” vehicles for residents.
Validity of the vehicle’s driving license.
A valid periodic vehicle inspection must be available.
A valid vehicle insurance must be provided.
Payment of government fees through the government payment system (SADAD), amounting to 150 Saudi riyals.
– No offenses committed by either the buyer or the vehicle.
The resident can own two “special” cars, with a maximum of 8 seats per car.
Service fee
The platform clarified that the fees required to complete the sale via the Absher platform are 230 riyals inclusive of the value added tax, to be added to the price of the vehicle and paid by the buyer.
