His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al-Derei, President of the Judo Federation, stated, after receiving the final approval from (International Judo), that the two championships will be held next to the Abu Dhabi Championship, on October 28 and 29 for kata, and from October 31 to November 3 for the Veterans Championship, i.e. after a championship. Abu Dhabi Grand Slam for Judo directly and in the same hall. 8 countries have applied to participate in the Kata Championship so far through the International Judo Federation website, while 191 players from 27 countries have applied to participate in the Abu Dhabi Veterans Championship.
