Abu Dhabi ∙ The Abu Dhabi police arrested a three-member gang that tried to smuggle a large quantity of Captagon drug. The gang tried to smuggle 2.25 million Captagon pills by hiding them in boxes filled with dried apricots. The authorities had implemented a security plan to monitor the movements of the accused. The accused were arrested as part of the investigation.
The gang was snared when boxes full of Captagon pills were found hidden in three different residential apartments in an emirate.
