Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, approved the announcement of accepting a new batch of human doctors holding a master’s / doctoral degree to work as officers assigned to the armed forces in a military capacity, batch of July 2023.
General conditions for admission
That the candidate and his parents and grandparents be Egyptian and not acquired or applying for the nationality of another country, and that he has not previously been convicted of a criminal penalty or in a crime against honor, and that he be of good conduct and behavior, and that the recruitment document is attached and extracted from the conscription department or from the conscription area of the candidate, and that he be medically fit in accordance with the conditions of medical fitness established by the General Military Medical Council, and that he successfully pass the psychological tests and the personal test (body detection) according to the assessment of the examination committee, and that the candidate submits written undertakings that guarantee full compliance with the conditions for applying for assignment in the military capacity with Confirm that the data included in the acceptance papers on the basis of which the candidate was accepted are correct throughout his time in the armed forces (the commissioning period), and that the candidate is committed to wearing the military uniform applicable in the armed forces, and it is not allowed for those who performed military service as a reserve officer to run for assignment in a military capacity.
It is required for human physicians who hold a master’s degree that the age does not exceed 34 years on 01/07/2023,
And that the holders of a doctoral degree should not be more than 38 years old on 01/07/2023, and that the grade is not less than good in the bachelor’s / master’s / doctoral degrees, and that the doctor has spent the period of excellence.
The duration of assignment in military capacity and the benefits enjoyed by the assigned person
A ministerial decision is issued for assignment for a period of two years, and it is renewed for one year or another with a maximum of four years. The officer assigned to the military capacity is also granted an experience certificate after the end of the assignment period and a statement of his service period in the armed forces to be submitted to his civil work authority to include it for his service period upon his retirement. The commissioned officer also gets many Privileges and services provided by the armed forces in accordance with the laws and instructions regulating this.
