Mammooka asked me if ten years were wasted: Naren
Actor Naren said that Mammootty was the first person who told him to come home when he was living in Chennai. Naren said that he used to ask who was there to help and when he finally came, the question was whether ten years had been wasted. Naren was speaking in an interview given to Media One.
‘All these years I was in Chennai. It has been only five months since he came back from there. Mammooka is the first person who tells me what he is doing here when he comes home. I said I am doing Tamil films. Mammooka asked who is here to support and help, who is the godfather. When he came home after many years, he called Mammooka and told him. He asked whether ten years were wasted.
My mone wanted to show him something. He also said that he would meet. Thought to go to Turbo’s location. But I arrived late from Thrissur. Then I learned that he had gone home. So the family went to his house. It was a silent birthday celebration,’ said Naren.
Naren’s upcoming film is Queen Elizabeth. M. Meera Jasmine will be playing Naren’s heroine in Queen Elizabeth directed by Padmakumar. The film will hit theaters on December 29.
Shweta Menon, Ramesh Pisharati, V.K. Prakash, Ranji Panicker, Johnny Antony, Mallika Sukumaran, Jude Anthony Joseph, Arya Badai Banglao, Shruti Rajinikanth, Pearli Mani, Sania Babu, Neena Kurup, Manju Patros, Vineeth Vishwam, Ranji Kangol and Chitra Nair are the other actors in the film.
