While he was starring in the play “Rabbit” alongside Muriel Robin in Paris, Pierre Arditi collapsed on the stage of the Edouard VII theater following around twenty minutes of performance. The 78-year-old actor was reportedly unwell.
Faced with this emergency, the curtain was quickly lowered on the stage.
Emergency services were called and quickly arrived on site. The room was directly evacuated and the play did not resume.
Our colleagues from BFMTV report that the actor is conscious and that he was hospitalized “in absolute emergency” with a suspected stroke. His days are not in danger.
