Aegio: Greek Cinema Day is celebrated at “Apollo” – 2024-03-21 10:47:25

The Hellenic Film Center (EKK) invites the public to become a spectator of Greek film, in a celebration that will spread throughout the country, on March 26, 2024. All of the Greek production of the last four years will be accessible in its cinemas territory, the physical location of the film, with a ticket price of 3 euros, thanks to the action “Day of Greek Cinema”.

This initiative of EKK is based on its belief that the Greek film and the Greek theater must coexist in an era of structural changes for film distribution around the world, but also in a time of international acclaim for Greek and Greek filmmakers. The “Day of Greek Cinema” comes to strengthen the hall, a place of culture whose survival is being tested all over Europe. The purpose of the Greek Film Festival is to show the Greek film to a wider audience, which Greek cinema has proven to be able to move.
