Ulsan Hyundai, a professional soccer team, defeated Guangzhou FC (China) in the 2022 Asian Champions League (ACL) to win 2 consecutive games.

Ulsan defeated Guangzhou 5-0 in the 4th match of Group I of the tournament held in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Ulsan, who had their first win (3-0) against Guangzhou in the third game, went on to win two straight after losing two in a row.

Guangzhou stayed at the bottom of the group with 4 losses.

Guangzhou, the weakest group in the group, did not score 16 goals in the previous three matches and could not face Ulsan again this time.

Ulsan took the lead with Yun Il-rok’s goal in the first 4 minutes.

Il-rok Yoon shook the net with a right-footed kick from the left side of the goal area.

In the second half, Ulsan’s ‘goal feast’ unfolded.

In the 9th minute of the second half, Costa finished off Jun Amano’s cross with a header to score an additional goal. In the 19th minute of the second half, from a corner kick, Bako made 3-0 with a left-footed shot from the front of the goal area.

In the 28th minute of the second half, Amano, who showed the best performance in Ulsan this season, scored the first goal of the tournament.

Amano shook the net by finishing the cutback from the left by Seol Young-woo with a non-stop shot.

In the 40th minute of the second half, when Leo’s header hit the post and came out, Ulsan Seol Young-woo shot again to put an end to the great victory.

In Group G, played in Pathum Thani, Thailand, the Jeonnam Dragons drew a dramatic 1-1 draw with Melbourne City (Australia).

Melbourne seemed to be victorious with McLaren’s goal in the 44th minute of the second half, but Jeonnam Kacharaba equalized in extra time in the second half, giving Jeonnam a valuable one point.

Kacharaba scored without delay when he lobbed the empty post after the Melbourne City goalkeeper had smashed the mid-air punching towards him.

In the 4th match of Group F in Buriram, Thailand, Daegu FC defeated Urawa Reds (Japan) and drew 0-0.

Daegu (7 wins, 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss) had the same points as Urawa (7 points, 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss), but maintained the lead in the group with 1 win and 1 draw in the head-to-head match.
