Kabul: Another strong earthquake in western Afghanistan. One person was killed in an earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale at 9:06 a.m. Indian time yesterday morning near the city of Herat. More than 100 people were injured. More than a thousand people were killed in a 6.3-magnitude earthquake in the same region on October 7. Eight followingshocks followed. Another earthquake that hit here last Wednesday claimed one life.
