In 2022, Nobin is entering Malayalam with the popularity of ‘777 Charlie’, which created a historic success in Kannada cinema and pan India level. In 2016, Nobin Paul made his debut as a music director in the Kannada film ‘Rama Rama Re’. Kiranraj calls Nobin Paul to 777 Charlie to the garish score of ‘Rama Rama Re’.
Nob’s career also took a new turn when the film was released in five languages Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi after more than three years of filming and the Covid pandemic. Nobin told the media about the challenges he had to face when he had to prepare music for five languages at the same time. It was something that had to be handled very carefully. I will send the composed music to the lyricist. They will prepare lines to suit it. That means none of the lines are translated. Generally all Kannada films are composed of songs in Kannada and sent to other languages. But not so with ‘777 Charlie’. I composed the lyrics after composing the music. Charlie has about ten songs. Out of which six songs are in all languages.
After ‘777 Charlie’ became a huge success, Noob got many offers from Malayalam and other languages. Now with a successful entry in Malayalam cinema as well, Nobin is on the path to become active in Malayalam along with Kannada cinema.
Nobin Paul hails from Kalathipadi in Kottayam district. Interested in music from a young age, Nobin Paul sang in the choir at his local church and was a member of the orchestra team while in college. He has also assisted in jingles and some music directors. Then enter the movie.
