After a deadly knife attack in Upper Austria: jealousy as a possible motive – Austria

Marchtrenk – According to the police, jealousy played a role in the deadly knife attack on a 40-year-old man in Marchtrenk (Wels-Land district) on Friday morning. Apparently it was regarding a woman. Since the main suspect, also 40, refused to testify when he was questioned on Saturday, this still has to be checked carefully. The driver of the getaway car – a 19-year-old Serb – is now no longer suspected.
