The artist failed to build a successful career.
Vladlen Biryukov woke up famous following the release of the series “Eternal Call”. In the film adaptation of the novel by Anatoly Ivanov, he played the role of Yakov Aleinikov and attracted the attention of not only the public, but also the most famous directors of the country. The public was sure that they would see the artist on the big screens more than once, but Biryukov chose a completely different path.
As it turned out, the artist did not want to leave his native Novosibirsk. In 1971, he became an artist at the local Red Torch theater and served on this stage almost until the end of his life.
