The newspaper quoted sources it described as familiar with the negotiations that the last round was final and the differences over the signature reward and image rights were resolved.
According to the report, an amount of 130 million euros was agreed upon as a signing bonus, and with regard to image rights, Real Madrid made a historic concession and offered a percentage exceeding 60% that was obtained by the Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid got a “yes” from the player’s representatives, and although the team has prepared the necessary documents, the contract has not yet been signed.
Marca did not rule out political pressure on the player from France and Doha.
Mbappe met with his representatives, on Tuesday, to analyze the situation, and also contacted the Paris Saint-Germain administration, without announcing a clear decision.
