German club Bayern Munich suspended its Senegalese striker Sadio Mane on Thursday, after an argument with his teammate Leroy Sane in the dressing room, after the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final match against Manchester City, which the team lost 0-3.
And the Bavarian club issued a statement confirming that Mane had suspended the match against Hoffenheim on Saturday in the German League, “because of misconduct after Bayern Munich’s match against Manchester City.”
He added: Sadio Mane will not be in the squad for our home match against Hoffenheim.
The statement confirmed that Bayern will fine Mane an unspecified amount.
