The price of gold fell slightly today, Monday, in Egypt during evening trading, and a gram fell by 5 pounds, compared to mid-trading prices, according to data from the General Division for Gold and Jewelry of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce.
The price of a gram of gold fell by 50 pounds at the beginning of trading, and jumped by about 90 pounds in the middle of trading.

14-karat gold prices fell to 2,183 pounds per gram.
The price of 18-karat gold fell to 2,807 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold reached 3275 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 carat gold reached about 3743 pounds per gram.
