The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi, has officially unveiled the Civi 2 as its latest budget-friendly mid-range device, targeting young people.
The company offers its new phone in the Chinese market, and it will be presented to global markets later in October, as “Xiaomi” set the price of the basic version of the phone (8 RAM + 128) at $ 334, while the highest version in the lineup comes ( 12 RAM + 256) at $ 390, and the phone is available in black, blue and pink color options.
The Chinese giant promised its users a unique experience that makes the new product in the category of “leading phone killers”, which offers specifications and settings for leading phones, but at the price of the middle class, where the price of the basic version of the phone did not exceed the barrier of 334 dollars.

The phone comes in a youthful and modern design with a combination of glass and reinforced plastic to provide the greatest durability, and features a 6.55-inch “AMOLED” curved screen and “FHD +” resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a sampling rate that works Touch up to 240 Hz.
The screen offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and the screen comes with an advanced Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer and high-frequency PWM dimming at 1920 Hz.
Processor and Settings
The “Xiaomi Civi 2” phone is powered by an octa-core processor, and the processor works with up to 12 GB of RAM of the “LPDDR4x” type, and up to 256 GB of built-in storage of the type “UFS 2.2”, The phone runs on the “Android 12” operating system directly from the box with the traditional “Xiaomi” interface from the “MIUI 13” version.
The phone, which supports two “nano” SIMs, contains a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, and the phone features advanced VC liquid cooling technology to dissipate heat.
The phone supports the fifth generation (5G), the fourth generation (4G or LTE), “Wi-Fi 6” dual-zone (2.4 + 5 GHz), “Bluetooth v5.2” and “NFC” technology, and the “USB-C” port The phone weighs about 171.8 grams.
Camera
With regard to photography, the phone features a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens slot, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 lens slot, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor With f/2.4 aperture.
The phone features a dual front camera inside a perforated hole, one of which is a standard camera with auto focus and the other is an ultra-wide-angle camera of 100 degrees, and the camera includes a 32-megapixel main sensor, and another 32-megapixel wide-angle sensor as well.
The front dual camera also features four “LED” lights, as the company claims that the phone provides a blur image similar to professional (DSLR) cameras, and electronic eyes that simulate the human eye to achieve accurate blur and provide up to 256 layers of depth data.
The smartphone includes many beauty features and image enhancement in the camera application, and “Xiaomi” claimed that its phone is the first in the world to use the “1G6P WLG” hybrid glass and plastic lens that was specially manufactured by the Chinese company “ChengruiOptics”.
