The price of gold stabilized today, Wednesday, by evening trading, at the same prices as mid-trading, according to what Naguib Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold fell by 25 pounds at the beginning of trading, before rising again by the same value in the middle of trading.

14 karat gold prices stabilized at 2033 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold was about 2614 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold reached 3050 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold stabilized at 3486 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound was about 24,400 pounds. The price may vary from one merchant to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
