In the middle of a day of protests and after learning of the dismissal of 7 thousand public employees, the Government convened the State Workers Association (ATE) to participate in the negotiation parity of the National Public Administration.
The meeting would be tomorrow, however, the union is evaluating the attendance of a delegation to the salary negotiation, while the General Secretary of the entity, Rodolfo Aguiar, declined to participate personally since the call takes place in the middle of the National Fight Day.
The hearing will take place at 10:30, at the National Directorate of Labor Relations and Regulations, located at Av. Callao 114 in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
After it became known that the Government signed the decree to dismiss 7 thousand public employees who signed their entry into the public administration during 2023, ATE warned this Tuesday that they are moving forward “towards a general strike” to reject Javier Milei’s decision.
They also warned that they will join tomorrow the mobilization called by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) in repudiation of the DNU of Milei and criminally denounced the president.
For its part, the mobilization of the CGT will take place next Wednesday in Talcahuano and Lavalle, starting at 11, to reject the dismissals signed by decree.
