The report of the Department of Psychiatry of the National Council of Mental Health at the Ministry of Health revealed that a fisherman convicted of killing his wife by suffocation in the marital bed in the village of Burj Moghaizel of the Mutobas Center was examined by a tripartite committee of the Department of Forensic Psychiatry, where the required mental medical report was prepared according to the request of the Fouh Criminal Court. “Second Circle”.

The opinion of the tripartite commission, after the mental medical examination of the convicted fisherman, found that he does not have, at the present time or at the time of the incident in question, any symptoms indicating the existence of a psychological or mental disorder that makes him lose or lack awareness, choice, sound will, discernment, correct judgment on matters, and knowledge of right and wrong, which makes him responsible for the accusation leveled against him in the case.

The tripartite committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Hani Hamed Desouky, Professor of Psychiatry at Beni Suef University, and in the membership Dr. Reda Abdulaziz Al-Ghamrawi, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Dr. Hassan Mahmoud Hassan, Psychiatry Specialist, assigning the Director General of the Technical Secretariat of the Regional Council for Mental Health in Cairo.

The Fouh Criminal Court, “Second Circuit”, headed by Counselor Khaled Badr El-Din, the head of the court and the circuit, decided in a previous session of the accused’s trial to deposit him for examination in the Forensic Psychiatry Department, and to prepare a psychological and mental medical report on his condition, and the extent of his criminal responsibility in the aforementioned case, while the court ruled, today. Monday, in his presence to punish him with life imprisonment, and in the civil lawsuit by referring the civil lawsuit to the competent civil court.

The ruling was issued under the chairmanship of Chancellor Khaled Qutb Badr Al-Din, President of the Court and the Chamber, and the membership of the counselors Hassan Muhammad Dowidar, Ahmed Othman Othman, and the secretariat of Ahmed Al-Maidani, in the events of Case No. 2580 of 2022 Crimes of the Mutobas Police Station, which is registered with No. 221 of 2022 Kafr El-Sheikh College.

Counselor Saud Muhammad Naguib, the attorney general of the Kafr El-Sheikh Public Prosecution, had referred the so-called “Ahmed M.A.A.”, 44 years old, a fisherman, and residing in the village of Burj Mughizel of the Mutobas Center, to the Fuwah Criminal Court because on January 18, 2022 in the district Mutobas Police Station He deliberately killed his wife with premeditation that he had the intention and was determined to do so.

The decision to refer the convict to the Fuwah Criminal Court revealed that the accused exploited his wife and asked her to the matrimonial bed by crouching on her, paralyzing her resistance, and clapping with both hands on her neck, pressing on her until her soul overflowed to her innocence, intending to take her life, causing her injuries described in the anatomical report.

The first investigations, and according to the investigations of the Mutobas Police Station, revealed that the convict decided to kill his wife because he suspected her behavior while he was away from his home, by inviting his children, one of them to go to her grandmother, and the other to receive educational lessons, so that he could carry out his criminal plan.

Investigations revealed that the convict invited her to the marital bed and crouched on her, which paralyzed her resistance, and with both hands he clamped her neck tightly, encircling her until her soul overflowed to her innocence.
