The price of gold plunged today, Thursday, in Egypt, by evening trading, and the gram fell 90 pounds, compared to mid-transaction prices, despite the global rise in the metal, according to Naguib Club, former secretary general of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.

14 karat gold prices fell to 1080 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 karat gold fell to 1389 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 carat gold fell to 1620 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold decreased to 1851 pounds per gram.
