SHARJAH, 8th December / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, inaugurated today the second edition of the Sharjah Events Festival, which is being organized by the Sharjah Events website of the Sharjah Government Media Office, with the slogan “Shine with its effectiveness”. At Al Majaz Theatre, which runs until December 11.
His Highness, accompanied by sheikhs and senior officials from the heads of government departments, toured the corridors of the festival, which hosts 32 governmental and private institutions and bodies in Sharjah, offering a rich program of events and activities that attract children and adults, and His Highness was introduced to the contents of the pavilions that highlight the tourism potential and enable visitors to have interactive experiences of adventure. and suspense.
During his tour, His Highness the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah inaugurated a simulation laboratory for people with learning disabilities, which was launched by the Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties, as part of its endeavor to employ innovation and digital transformation tools in supporting people with learning disabilities and their families. And three-dimensional 6 experiences that simulate the reality experienced by students with learning difficulties, in addition to shedding light on the center’s initiatives and projects and the innovative services it provides to empower people with learning disabilities and meet their needs.
The Sharjah Events Festival aims to invite government and private institutions in the emirate to meet and present various activities to the public. It also represents an added value for the participating parties to introduce their activities and open areas of cooperation between them. Enjoyable times in the corridors of the festival, in addition to introducing the Sharjah Events website, which is the first source for all the events that take place in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The festival includes a number of recreational areas such as the amazing science laboratory, the main theatre, musical swings, the candy castle, workshops for children and the gift box.
At the end of the opening ceremony, His Highness the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah honored the partners, supporters and participating parties in the festival and took memorial photos with them.
