“It doesn’t look as good as we had assumed,” says Thomas Duschlbauer from the state crisis communication. As reported, a gas explosion occurred in Ansfelden on Tuesday night after deep drilling. The gas levels on the site and in some of the 65 evacuated houses are still too high to give the green light. You don’t want to take any risks, for example the electricity can’t be switched on yet.
