After the saturation operation, the thieves returned and looted cars

Like so many other neighborhoods in Córdoba Capital, Urca lives and suffers from an unstoppable criminal sequence. Namely: home robberies, street robberies, motorcycle chores, meter thefts and, of course, the unstoppable theft of tires from parked vehicles.

Tired of the lack of responses, neighbors have already held several meetings with Córdoba Police authorities. In fact, in recent days, there have been several meetings between police chiefs and representatives of the Urca neighborhood center.

Given the escalation of robberies, the Police carried out a saturation operation in that neighborhood. It was last Tuesday the 12th of this year. Several dozen uniformed officers took over the area and carried out various procedures, as well as intensive patrolling.

It was enough for the operation to cease and the Police to leave, for the criminals to return in full force. For some residents of Urca it was “retaliation.”

Again, wheel stealer in Urca. (Gentleness)

What happened? In the last few hours, wheel stealing thieves acted once more in that sector and stole tires from parked cars. Nothing strange to what happens in other parts of the Capital.

The incredible thing is that three of the wheels were stolen from a vehicle. A tire was stolen from another vehicle, despite the constant presence of cars.

In the neighborhood security WhatsApp group they talk regarding nothing else. The demand was once once more the same as always: how to stop robberies in this area and how to improve police prevention.
