A painting mysterious street artist Bansky’s works sell for a high price. Bansky’s paintings sold for over USD 2 million.
The painting was sold at auction in Baverl Hills, California, Wednesday (29/3). The painting sold for exactly USD 2,032,000.
The painting is titled ‘brace yourself!’ and shows the Grim Reaper, or Grim Reaper, driving a car. “Brace Yourself!” is actually the name of an English band
Banksy is known as a mysterious painter because he has never appeared publicly, so no one knows who his real identity is.

The title of the painting ‘brace yourself!’ it belonged to a British band called Exit Through The Gift Shop. But that name Banksy wanted to use for his documentary which tells the story of Thierry Guetta, a Frenchman living in Los Angeles who wants to make a documentary regarding Banksy and later becomes known as Mr. Brain wash.
To avoid confusion or copyright issues, Banksy offered the band a picture he would create especially for them—on condition they choose a new name. The band accepted Banksy’s offer and changed their name to “Brace Yourself!”.
Banksy fulfilled his promise and his painting entitled ‘Brace Yourself!’ it was then showcased at the Hard Rock Cafe in London earlier this month. At Wednesday’s auction, music executive Miguel Garcia Larios bought it for $2 million. The auction focused on street art and contemporary art and featured 70 pieces, including works by painter Bob Ross and actor Jim Carrey.
