Agathe Monpays will be the new General Manager of Leroy Merlin France, from 1is September 2023, announces the Adeo group. She will succeed Thomas Bouret, in this position since 2014, who will become director of international development for Adeo.
Current Managing Director of Leroy Merlin Greece and Cyprus, Agathe Monpays will notably be responsible for “ strengthen the attractiveness of the brand, which has been one of the top 3 favorite French brands for several years “says the group.
From Happychic to Athens, via Valenciennes and Tourcoing
Aged 28, Agathe Monpays began her career in direct marketing at Happychic between 2014 and 2016, before joining Leroy Merlin France as sector manager in Valenciennes. From 2020, she took over the management of the Leroy Merlin store in Tourcoing before, in September 2022, being appointed to Leroy Merlin Greece and Cyprus, a subsidiary with 8 stores, 7 in Greece and 1 in Cyprus.
In September 2023, she will therefore now take charge of Leroy Merlin France which, in 2022, achieved a business volume including tax of €9.8 billionup 5.6% from 2021.
