AGCO (NYSE: AGCO), a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, infrastructure and precision farming technology, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Hexagon to expand its factory and aftermarket guidance offering. The new guidance system will be sold as Fuse Guide on Massey Ferguson and Valtra tractors.
New Provision Expands Existing Agreement Between AGCO and Hexagon to Distribute Hexagon’s Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Receivers | NovAtel and TerraStar’s global remediation services, both factory and through AGCO dealers. Fuse Guide will offer robust, market-proven guidance and an electronic steering system. Like AGCO’s state-of-the-art guidance systems, Fuse Guide will also use the highly accurate NovAtel SMART7 receiver.
The solution offers customers a choice between third-party aftermarket systems and state-of-the-art integrated guidance systems from AGCO, MF Guide and Valtra Guide. Fuse Guide is expected to ship in Brazil in Q2 2023, with additional markets to follow in 2024.
