To enjoy this new mode, all you have to do is select the “cooperative battle” option from the multiplayer screen and then choose to make the game public or private, just like in a conventional multiplayer game.
It is certainly good to see that after the arrival of Age of Empires IV, the previous deliveries keep getting updates, being that the number of users who still enjoy them is far from being low.
