The President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, announced this Wednesday that, starting today, the agricultural market services that the Ministry of Agriculture (MAG) has installed throughout the country will be open every day.
“From now on, MAG’s agricultural markets will be open every day. Buy at fair prices. Prices of products and locations of agricultural markets,” the president announced in X.
The expansion of this initiative arises from the need of the population to acquire food at a fair price, since in supermarkets and other supply centers, the authorities have confirmed that there is an increase in the cost without justification.
In response to this, the Consumer Protection Agency announced that it will soon file a complaint with the appropriate authorities once morest those who are raising the cost of products.
From now on, MAG agricultural markets will be open every day.
