Emirati artist Ahlam Al Shamsi made a unique humanitarian initiative, as she decided to help a girl who needed a large sum of money to save her life.
Ahlam presented an amount of up to 85,000 dirhams, or regarding $23,000, which is the cost of a delicate surgery for the 5-year-old girl, “Masouma”, who suffers from severe hearing impairment and needs a cochlear implant.
Since her family might not afford her treatment, Ahlam sponsored her, and this initiative won great admiration from the followers.
