Aiki’s side “I received an offer for a club performance and turned it down… I’ve never been paid for it”

Dancer Aiki explained the controversy over unilaterally canceling the club performance on the same day after receiving a guarantee.

On the 26th, ESteem Entertainment, the agency of the dance crew hook leader Aiki, released a statement through Instagram Story.

The agency said, “I received an offer to appear in the performance through a performance agency on the evening of the 24th. I was reviewing it positively, but it was decided that it would be difficult to appear in the performance due to Aiki’s schedule before and after the performance.

It was finally decided that it was difficult to confirm that the club name, as well as the event information, which was first delivered were different. After about an hour to the agency, I told the agency that I was not going to appear.”

He continued, “It is not at all true that the contract and guarantee payment were made to all crew hooks. This contract was unilaterally conducted by the agency and the club without any consultation with the company. The company, Aiki, and crew hook members are not involved at all. I haven’t done anything,” he added.

The agency also claimed, “The club claims that the crew’s logo, which appeared in ‘Swoopa’ (Mnet’s ‘Street Woman Fighter’), was used commercially without permission due to an error in the communication process between the agency and the club. We once again express our regrets for all the false facts that are being told. We will take strong action against the part that defames Aiki and the Hook members with false information.”

Earlier, on the 25th, a club posted on SNS, “I wrote a contract for the appearance of all the Aiki Hook team, and after depositing the full amount of the performance fee, I got permission to promote it separately, but I was contacted that I could not come on the same day. It’s very embarrassing,” he said, drawing attention. He added, “Even after the contract was signed, I received many promises that I would not cancel the concert. They also allowed me to promote on social media, so I started promoting it yesterday.”
