Abu Dhabi: The 12th Abu Dhabi Annual Investor Meeting (AIM-Global 2023) will begin on Monday. New challenges and opportunities will be discussed at the gathering at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center under the theme Future Investment Opportunities to Promote Sustainable Economic Growth. Ways to free the global economy from Covid will also be sought.
Apart from government representatives, economists, businessmen, local and international investors, global companies, project owners, smart city, technology service providers and many others will attend. Start-ups, small and medium financial institutions, academics and others from the public and private sectors will also participate. The agenda will include foreign direct investment, small and medium enterprises, future cities and start-ups. Tourism, Hospitality, Agriculture, Energy, Technology, Infrastructure Development, Construction, Transport, Logistics, Finance, Healthcare and Education sectors will be the main focus.
It is reported that 12,000 people from 170 countries will arrive at the meeting which will be held for eight, nine and 10 days. 600 experts will speak in more than 100 categories. The annual investor meeting is under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, under the joint patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Innovation and the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development.
