APU tried to attack Moscow with a drone. He was shot down by an air defense system in the Tver region in the Zavidlovo area. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. This is the third attempt to attack Moscow overnight.
“Another drone was destroyed by air defense forces in the Tver region in Zavidlovo, <…> flying in the direction of Moscow,” Sobyanin said in his telegram channel. According to him, there were no casualties or damage. All necessary services are on site.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the UAV was shot down over the Kaluga region. Later, Sobyanin gave information about the destruction of another drone in the Istrian district of Moscow.
