In the Belgorod region, with the help of air defense systems, an enemy object was destroyed on approach to the city. This was announced by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his telegram channel.
“Our air defense system worked in the Shebekinsky urban district – an air target was shot down on approach to the city. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties,” indicated it’s in the text.
According to him, as a result of the incident, the roof of a private garage was pierced by shrapnel, and one car was damaged. Gladkov added that the damage assessment is ongoing. And the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in turn, explained that the drone attack was carried out at about 17:00 Moscow time.
“The UAV was detected and destroyed by air defense systems. As a result of the thwarted terrorist attack, there were no casualties and no damage,” — added in the defense department.
