A new Swiss project is currently seeking funding through a Kickstarter campaign. O AirCardas it is called, is a tracker designed to be compatible with the network Look for (Find My) from Apple. It offers users a convenient solution for locating lost items such as wallets, purses and other objects.
Unlike traditional trackers, the device uses the network formed by millions of nearby iPhones, iPads and Macs, making the tracking process much more effective.
AirCard has varied features to assist users in locating their belongings. With a thin thickness, of only 2.2 millimetersthe card incorporates an integrated speaker capable of outputting sound of up to 105dB.
This audio functionality allows users to easily identify the location of the card and serves as a deterrent against possible theft. Additionally, users can receive alerts when they stray too far from their AirCard, reducing the chances of inadvertently forgetting their belongings.
In addition to its tracking capabilities, the device includes a NFC module, allowing it to function as a digital business card through the Sherr.it platform. Using a QR codeusers can share their contact information easily.
The AirCard, made with durable materials like aluminum and glass, weighs only 20 grams and has a robust battery of 540mAhproviding an impressive service life of up to 2.5 years.
