Riyadh / Kuwait City പൊ Dust storms in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have severely affected the lives of the people. The airport in Kuwait was temporarily closed on Monday evening. Schools were closed yesterday as well.
The Met Office said that the weather will be clear by today. Hundreds of people have been hospitalized after suffering from shortness of breath due to a heavy dust storm in Saudi Arabia. The Red Crescent said several people had been given first aid and released. Accidents were also reported here and there.
The dust storm is expected to continue into the night, the Met Office said. The Ministry of Health has requested that allergy sufferers, children and the elderly should not go outside during dusty times. He also reminded that the houses should be closed to prevent wind. Authorities said those leaving immediately should cover their ears and nose.
