Ajar-Paris by Fanta Dramé: back to the roots

#RentreeLitteraire22 – For the first time, his father exposes himself, evoking the doubts and hardships that marked his decision to leave his country and marked his existence in the heart of a culture so different from his own, and in which he will finally raise his children when he should have been there only passing through.

Avoiding only what undermines his cultural modesty, he finally reveals the story he had never told, the one his daughter had never dared to ask him until then.

Éditions PLON invites you to discover the first pages of the novel Ajar-Paris:

Fanta Dramé was born in Paris in 1987. After a master’s degree in modern literature at the Sorbonne-Nouvelle, she obtained the CAPES and now teaches in Seine-Saint-Denis. It was as part of her classes, and with a view to organizing a writing workshop with her students, that she met Faïza Guène, whom she would later ask for advice on her manuscript.
