The mayor of Al-Aqiba, Joseph Daccache, revealed that there have been recent attempts to attack property, indicating that the Al-Aqiba municipal police managed to thwart many of them, and it seemed clear that with the continued deterioration of the economic situation, these attempts may increase.
Joseph Daccache pointed out that the sons of al-Aqiba did not break in the darkest circumstances, and we will continue to do so. He announced that the municipal police will start implementing night security measures to ensure the safety of citizens’ property and provide reassurance.
He stressed that in addition to monitoring the surveillance cameras, the police will be present at the entrances of Al-Aqiba starting from midnight to monitor entry and exit to seize any attempt of assault in coordination with the security services. And he said: “Your cooperation will be of great importance, and do not hesitate to report any suspicious movement by calling the number 70877448”.
And he concluded: “I assure you that I will remain by your side and continue to bear the responsibility, no matter how difficult the difficulties are, until we, together with the accompaniment of the honorable Municipal Council, reach safety and the end of the circumstances that necessitated exceptional measures.
