The Al-Ittihad Al-Islami team, which belongs to the second division of the professional tournament, qualified for the eighth-final round of the Football Throne Cup, after defeating Al-Fateh Sports Club (3-1), in the match that brought them together yesterday, Monday, on the field of the Honorable Stadium in Oujda, in the round of 16.
The legal time for this match ended in a 1-1 draw, before the Al-Wajdi team added two goals in extra time.
The Al-Ittihad Al-Wajdi hat-trick was scored by player Ibrahim Al-Amari (24th, 102nd, and 113rd minute), while Al-Fateh Sports Club’s goal was scored by player Ayoub Mouloua (42nd minute).
