Al-Ittihad: The arbitration procedures are void | sports newspaper

The Saudi Football Association refused to be a party to a dispute in the appeal of the Al-Ittihad club and the Moroccan club, Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, the first football team player, against the decisions of what was known as the “records issue”, according to the private “sports” sources.
The Saudi Federation had officially responded to a letter received from the Sports Arbitration Center, in which the latter demanded to be a party to a dispute in the case.
The same sources indicated that the Football Association confirmed that it cannot be a party with any Saudi club against another, and that the arbitration center violated the procedural rules by excluding it since the beginning of the dispute, and then requested that it be returned now as a party to the dispute after the end of the legal period for appeal, and after the formation of the arbitration committee, Without giving him the right to choose an arbitrator within the committee, like the rest of the parties to the dispute.
She indicated that he stated in his official response, issued by the Professionalism Committee, that the arbitration center did not address him to know his opinion on the temporary measures decision, explaining that the one who has an interest in defending the decisions issued in the case is only the Saudi Football Association, not Al-Nasr Club. The Football Association concluded its response by emphasizing that the arbitration committee was formed on an irregular basis, “which means that all procedures and decisions issued by it are invalid.”
It is noteworthy that a legal controversy escalated against the background of the Al-Ittihad club’s appeal against the decisions of the “records issue” after it wrote in its memorandum the dispute against Al-Nasr Club only, and did not mention the Saudi Federation, which issued the decisions.
