Al-Jouf University achieves sixth place among universities in the report of the National Center for the Promotion of Mental Health

The Director of the Academic and Student Counseling Center, Dr. Hassan Al-Jalidi, explained that the university has worked to complete the activities to promote mental health, which include main themes that came to build the balanced personality of the university student, and to enhance the concepts of mental health, the Student Care Center “University Counseling Department” and community initiatives in the field of mental health, Scientific and research activity in the field of mental health and attention to risk factors within the university environment.

This achievement is the culmination of the university’s efforts and its keenness on the counseling and psychological process provided by the University Vice Presidency for Educational Affairs represented by the Academic and Student Counseling Center.

It is noteworthy that Al-Jouf University has achieved a number of achievements and successes since its establishment in the middle of the year 1426 AH. The United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom, Ambassador Natalie Foster, had recently visited and was received by the President of Al-Jouf University, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, and watched a presentation on the university’s most prominent achievements. The delegation also reviewed the university’s experience in achieving a number of United Nations sustainable development goals, which contributed to the university’s achievement. Highly ranked in the Times World University Impact Ranking.

After that, the delegation visited the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Center for Scientific Publishing, and the Central Laboratories Building. The delegation met with graduate students, learning about the research they are conducting. The delegation also visited renewable energy laboratories.
