Saudi Al Hilal defeated Qatar’s Al Rayyan with three goals without a response on Monday in the second round of Group A matches in the AFC Champions League.
The match was held at Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium in Al Malaz, and the first half ended with Al Hilal advancing with a goal scored by Abdullah Al Hamdan in the 27th minute.
In the second half, Muhammad Ibrahim Kanoo added the second goal for the Saudi team in the 49th minute, before Nasser Al-Dosari concluded the Al-Hilal treble by scoring the third goal in the 87th minute.
Thus, Al Hilal, the defending champion, maintained its lead in the first group, after raising its score to 6 points, while Al Rayyan’s balance froze at 3 points.
