Zamalek are one step away from retaining the Egyptian Premier League title after a difficult 1-0 win over Farco on Friday.
Defender Hossam Abdel Meguid scored an early goal from a header after a corner kick in the eighth minute. The victory raised Zamalek’s balance to 75 points, expanding the points difference between its closest rivals, the Pyramids team, by 10 points.
