Al-Nasr surprises Al-Hilal and responds to the Saudi Football Association

Saudi Arabia – The management of Al-Nasr Club Company published a statement about what was stated in the referee’s report of the team’s match against Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup about Cristiano Ronaldo, the world leader.

The Portuguese star received a red card in the 86th minute of the Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr match, in the Diriyah Saudi Super Cup semi-final, by directing hand strikes on the body and chest of Al-Hilal defender Ali Al-Bulaihi, which threatens the player with being suspended for two matches and a fine of 20,000 riyals, for using “behaviour.” “Disgraceful.”

Al-Nasr received a letter from the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation, to advise on the behavior of Cristiano Ronaldo, before issuing the final decision in the incident, which referee Muhammad Al-Huwaish described, in his report on the match, as Al-Nasr’s captain committing “disgraceful behavior.”

Al-Riyadiah newspaper reported that the management of Al-Nasr Company stated that the red card that Ronaldo received was undeserved, and the club also refused to describe the incident as “disgraceful behavior,” stating that Cristiano’s behavior was nothing more than a competition for the ball.

According to the Saudi Super Cup regulations, if a player receives a red card, and the team’s campaign in the tournament ends after the match that witnessed the expulsion, the player is subject to suspension in the next match in any official tournament, which means Ronaldo will be absent from the Al-Fayhaa match, scheduled for April 19, At Al Awal Park Stadium, in the 28th round of the Saudi Roshan League, and the Portuguese may miss the Gulf match on April 27, in the 29th round, if the incident of “disgraceful behavior” is proven and the player is suspended for two matches.
