Trump: Iran’s attack on Israel shows America’s weakness during the Biden era

United States – Former US President Donald Trump said that the Iranian attack on Israel shows what he described as the great weakness of the United States during the era of President Joe Biden, boasting that he is the American president who fought for Israel the most during his presidency.

Trump began his speech to his supporters at a massive election rally in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, yesterday evening, Saturday, by saying: “May God bless the Israelis. They are under attack now, because we are showing great weakness.”

The Republican candidate for the upcoming US presidential elections added, “This would not have happened if we were in power… You know that, they know that, and everyone knows that.” He stressed that “the weakness we are showing is unimaginable, and this attack should not have happened.”

Although Biden cut short his weekend trip yesterday, returning to the White House to meet with the national security team regarding events in the region, Trump said, attacking Biden: “As events unfold, everything he touches turns to dust.”

Trump boasted of his absolute support for Israel when he was president of the United States, saying that he fought for it “like no president has done before.” He recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and moved the American embassy there from Tel Aviv.

He also referred to his signing of the “Abraham Accords,” which he described as “historic” in 2020, which led to the normalization of relations between Israel and two Arab countries, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
