Private sources told Al-Riyadiah that the delegation of the Al-Nasr first football team chose the “Hili Rayhaan” Hotel in the Emirati city of Al Ain for accommodation, in preparation for facing Al Ain, on Monday, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League.
According to the same sources, the Emirati club managers imposed secrecy on the Al-Nasr Mission’s residence to avoid crowding by fans of the Saudi team and international Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the yellow team.
Al-Nasr concludes its preparations for the Al Ain match with an evening training session on the match field, and the Portuguese Luis Castro, the Yellow coach, accompanied by one of the players, will hold a press conference at 6:00 pm to talk about the match with the Emirati team, and before that, the technical meeting will be held in the presence of the two teams’ coordinators.
Al Ain officially announced, on Saturday, the absence of its player, Laba Kodjo, from participating in the Al-Nasr match due to the injury he sustained during the last match with Hatta in the UAE League.
Al Asami qualified for the quarter-finals of the Asian Championship after defeating its compatriot Al-Fayhaa 1-0 in the first leg and 2-0 in the first leg, while Al-Ain reached the same round at the expense of Nasaf of Uzbekistan by defeating them 1-0 in the second leg after their goalless draw in the first leg.
